As some people know I am a huge fan of The Office (top 5 favorite show of all time for me) But as it approaches to the Ninth season most of the cast seems to be leaving. For example Steve Carrell who played as Michael Scott left towards the end of season 7th.
But now you start seeing more of the regulars leave the show. Rainn Wilson who plays as Dwight Schrute is leaving the show for his own spin-off. Who knows it may be a success like “Frasier”. Or perhaps a flop like “Joey”. But another person that is leaving is Paul Lieberstein who plays as Toby Flenderson is leaving to help produce the spin-off as well.
Mindy Kaling who plays a Kelly Kapoor is most likely going to leave as well to start her own series on Fox. John Krasinski who plays as Jim Halpert (My favorite character from the show) will be appearing next season but most likely in not many episodes since it seems like hes moving to films now. Same thing goes to Ed Helms who plays as Andy Bernard especially with his involvement in The Hangover 3.
It just makes you think how long does this series has left. In my opinion I think it would be best to end it next season. Reason why is it would give it a proper ending. (I feel its a little too late this season). And also hopefully it wont end up like Scrubs or That 70’s show in which some of the main cast has left the show and replacing it with a newer staff.
Don’t get me wrong the last season of Scrubs wasn’t bad. It just didn’t feel like Scrubs anymore. Same thing with the last season of That 70’s show. Although the last couple of episodes of The Office was pretty good. It’s starting not to feel like the same show as it was before. I feel they just need to end it before no one from the main cast is there anymore. Only time will tell.
